Welcome to My Little Angels Care Company Ltd
New members of staff start off with a black uniform and are required to undertake our annual online training programme in our onsite training room, which Include:
- Safe Administration of Medication
- Health and Safety
- Hand Hygiene
- Infection Control
- Dementia Care
- Safeguarding of Vulnerable adults
- First Aid Awareness
- Mental Capacity
- Moving and Handling Theory
- Food Hygiene
Once these are completed, a handbook is issued and one to one training commences both on site and out in the community, where each section of the handbook is signed off by the senior team when the member of staff has achieved and maintained our high standard of care. Only once both the senior team and the new member of staff are confident with their new job role will they go out into the community independently. Once out in the community independently they will then receive their grey uniform along with the care certificate.
All staff are then required to attend training sessions which are conducted on a monthly basis. They are then required to undertake QCF (Qualifications and Credit Framework) level 2 in Health and Social Care which we feel is important for all members of staff to achieve, to be able to provide our high standard of care. Once QCF level 2 is completed there is then an option to go ahead with QCF level 3 and become a Senior member of the team.
All QCF (NVQ) is carried out by independent training companies
We as a company feel it is crucial to give all members of staff the opportunity to undertake additional courses and achieve additional qualifications not only so they can excel in their career path but also to give our clients and their families reassurance.
